Male Hukukru Miskiu
Male Hukukru Miskiu is an ancient juma mosque located in the center of Male (Kaafu Atoll, Maldives). The mosque was built in 1658 by order of Sultan Iskanadar I of the Maldives in no more than two years. The main material for the construction was coral stone. The mosque is surrounded by a seventeenth-century cemetery whose coral tombstones are carved intricately and uniquely. The site also includes a coral minaret.
