Bab el-Mansour Gate in Meknes, Morocco

No gate in Morocco is said to be more beautiful than Bab el-Mansour, built in 1732, which is the main entrance to the Imperial City of Meknes.
The majestic columns with which Bab el-Mansour is surrounded were brought from Volubilis before construction began.
The main purpose of the gate, like other similar structures in Morocco, was to protect the city from enemy attacks. Today, the beautiful gate with its mosaic patterns and exquisite stucco makes a great impression on tourists.
And inside Bab el-Mansour there is an art exhibition with works of contemporary artists.
