A UNESCO World Heritage Site that was built by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, in Lahore. Construction began in 1641 AD and was completed the following year. The fort features marble palaces and mosques decorated with mosaics and gilding. The gardens are built on three terraces with a lodge, there are also waterfalls and large ornamental ponds.
